Front cam broken?

Hi,

I've been quite happy with the K1S. Recorded everthing and only froze once or twice . Now from today on I hear: ''Recording started - Recording stop...'' for 5 minutes straight.
I looked at the screen and the front cam was show a lot of bright frames. I unplugged it from the unit. Now everything works.
I noted that the tiny red led on the front cam isn't lighting up.

I plugged in the front camera to the back camera input and rebooted the unit but it didn't show any image. Did the same with the back camera: everything ok.

I wanted to know how I proceed from here? Can I purchase parts anywhere? Are there other compatible cams available?
How can I determine if it is a wire or camera issue?

No common fix, only common problems with this model unfortunately

try someone that sells them and see if you can buy a replacement cam, plenty of returns on these so good chance someone has parts laying around

You can find front camera as spare parts on ebay, amazon, or aliexpress ...
Check also the cable, maybe it does this in a particular position of the cable .
I confirm that it's not a very reliable system ...

Thanks all for thinking with me . Completely forgot about Aliexpress. I've ordered an new cam with them.
Also found a cable clip for K1S in the search results.
