G1W Novatek 96650 WDR F1.6 H.264 MOV 15Mbps GPS Dash Cam DVR

Hi guys,

New here but just wanted to give a heads up that for my G1WH, I bought a PNY 32 GB Class 10 MicroSDHC card, and had absolutely no issues with it.
Before that, I had gotten a Patriot 32GB Class 10.. and had errors many times.

Does anyone know the minimum current to power a G1W ? 1A? 2A?
I have still not received mine, so I can't watch on the power supplied with.

Is there anywhere we can purchase just the suction cup mounts. I have a motorcycle and 2 SUV's that I interchange the GW - 1 to. Would be nice to have suction cup mounts on all vehicles.
 
estore009 on eBay sells 3 types of Mount. Succion, 3M adhesive and rear view mirror mount.

I went all through there ebay site and only came up with a GW-1 for sale..No separate suction mounts. If you have a link, please post it..Thankshttps://www.ebay.com/itm/310752336819
I have also sent them a message about purchasing suction mounts.

I've just received my G1W from estore009.
The quality of the video is really impressive compared to my genuine DVR-027 !!
I can read the licence plates much better.

2 drawbacks :

1/ it seems to be impossible to mount the cam up side down, there is no option to invert the video. On my DVR-027 I had this option... it is a real problem to mount this type of cam at the rear of my car.
What if I disassemble and I turn the lens 180° ?

2/ the sound is quiter than my DVR-027 but seems to be more clear.

would still be upside down, you need to invert the CMOS sensor but that's attached directly to the mainboard in this model
 
So, you mean it is impossible as it is attached to the mainboard ?

I have to find another way to mount it at the rear of my car...:(

I guess it will be the same with G1WH ?
 
Should the genuine G1W be able to record 720p @ 60fps ?
Mine is only 30fps

The easiest way to find out if its genuine is, if the Video files are recorded in .MOV If they are .AVI or something else, then its most likely a fake G1W.
 
Thanks, I have already checked MOV, H264, FPS and bitrate, it is OK ;)

What kind of HDMI cable do I need to connect my G1W to my TV ?
Mini or Micro HDMI ?

I'm not familiar with these kind of cables.

Sorry, my mistake, I have edited my post, I should have written "MOV".
So, it is NOT a clone :)
