GPS Power Input

Does it matter which power port is used when using dual cameras? I’ve been using the side slot but will be switching my hardwire kit as my original one failed, and am thinking it would be easier and put less stress on the port and plug if I used the top power port on the GPS mount. Thanks!

You should be fine.
Older versions of the gps model had a problem passing the power through to the Dashcam.
