GPS support: what receiver to buy

Hello everyone,

I did notice that new firmware enables GPS functionality in B40 camera. I really wonder what kind of gps receiver is compatible with particular camera. Extensive google didn't yield any results, but I hope that people might know. Please help.
 
The word is, that a compatible GPS-Receiver still needs to be released to market (read on the "main-thread" to the A118, I think it has been mentioned on page 32(?))

I'm wondering why those Receivers seem to be non-standardized?

Well - we'll have to see what happens... :)

We'll put them on eBay after we ramp up more stock. (would rather avoid the 10% fee though in the first batch)

Thanks for that. Shouldn't be necessary, I didn't realise you did international orders. Thought you were only US.
 
Hmmm, I'm thinking of getting one of these until the guardtrak comes out how does this compare to a Marcus 3?

I've just received my GPS logger. Ran the setup device option in Registrator Viewer, changing the GMT time to my local area, which wrote a setup.cfg file to my card. I switched the GPS option on in the camera setup menu and tested it but nothing appears to be there, the usual video file but no GPS data. Obviously I'm doing something very wrong! I would appreciate any help to help me through this.
