GS2000 Advice

Hi guys need some help.

Looking at buying a GS2000 Purely because I want a good cheap 1080P Camera that isn't too expensive, something that displays my speed would be good but I dont care about GPS mapping what so ever.

Looking at getting one of Aliexpress.
This one is one of the top ones with alot of orders.

My question is in the picture the firmware is 3.34.240412A, is this the proper firmware? From the footage Ive seen from these cameras they are good value for money during the day assuming you get a genuine one.

firmware is anyone's guess unless you can find someone that has bought the same one recently and can confirm everything works as intended, they are generally very much what you see is what you get, trying to get updates for any problems doesn't happen

if you're looking at these I'd definitely avoid the white version if you want it to be discrete

I will defiantly be getting the black version.

the black is certainly the better option

you'll likely find this is a base Ambarella platform, I'd guess it uses a 4 glass lens, OVI sensor, Hynix memory, it's a very common solution you find in lots of cams and offers reasonable performance
