GT680W won't save date/time settings

Hello

when I use it, it powers up with the ignition every time.

But the date/time resets to 1/1/2013 each time I start the car.

but i dont think its my battery cause i can run the 680 without beeing plugged for a few mins (1-2) and because i dont have to manualy turn it on (top button) each time i start the car.

When i used it first, it keept my settings.
Unfortunately i did a FW update (from 2,4 to 2,7) and then the problems did start.
First i thought it was a FW problem, but now i am back on 2,4 and i still cant save the settings.

Thoughts or experience with this?

one version for the silver/black, on for the all black.

maybe somebody should delete the link for the silver version to avoid others to install it.
Seems that 2,7 did destroy something... damn.

Based on the post from @billknow, I think he means that the Shadow_GT680W_full_black_v2.7G_FW.zip should only be used with the all black camera. Not sure if the other v2.7 firmware has that restriction but perhaps he will clarify. I have put a warning on the FAQ just in case.
