Guy stops at red light, then goes through it anyway.

One of those "clever" people. Thinks he knows the light sequence, thinks he can do it safely, thinks he's justified taking the risk, then ends up killing someone.

only time i've intentionally run a red was when the lights were broken.

when you can listen to the entire song of Inna-gadda-davida and your light STILL hasn't changed, it's a pretty safe bet the light's broken.
 
I went through a red light once - intentionally and in front of a LEO. I saw him coming in the RVM with his lights and siren on and just whipped around the corner on red to make way for him. Must have been OK 'cause he just kept going, probably late for his coffee and doughnut meeting . ;)
