By way of introduction I live in the Los Angeles area and drive a Smart Car. For years I've always liked the idea of having a dash cam to record stupid drivers and just in case of an accident.

Right now I'm considering two possible solutions:
(1) DVR 207: Not fancy, but it does the job. Assuming that I don't purchase a fake copy, I understand that there's no gap in the recorded files.
(2) Mobius: That's a really interesting unit with higher resolution and lots of user settings. It seems like the development is ongoing and more improvements are coming. (Wider lens, software updates, and capacitor replacement for battery.) The only downside I can see is that that might pose a long term issue. Excessive heat can be hard on electronics and it's even worse on a battery.
So I'm still searching and looking....
