Is this only for the A119 or is this ok for the "S" Model also??

I have been using the Mini series dashcams (0801, 0805) for the past few years, and just purchased my first A119. The Minis log the GPS info to a separate file that can be excluded or included with the video as required. I would like to see a similar solution for the A119, but it may not be possible with the .mp4 file format (the Minis are .mov)

You can extract gps into separate files via NovaTrakt (and I think dashcamviewer too)

Thanks for the link, but the advantage of having the data as a separate file is to exclude the data from being embedded in the video. Can the data be extracted and then removed from the video file?

Well, I guess not. It sure would be handy to have the data available if (and only if) needed, though.

I've used my Minis to help me become a better driver in the few near misses I've had, and the speed data is especially useful, but I'll leave the GPS turned off (in v3.1B) to limit my potential liability.
