History of action cam

note: i find it interesting that the sign says "BUNGY", the filename says "bungee_jumping_new_zealand.jpg" but jokiin says something completely different. yes, i know kiwis speak a different language (just like us yanks), but didn't expect that much difference.
 
We calle them octopus straps here, that is if it have more then 1 "arm"

they started out being called octopus straps here also, Australian slang pretty much shortens any name though so this became occy straps before too long
 
How long could stand having this monstrosity on your head?
 
Great thread, really cool. Can you imagine what kind of action cameras there will be in the future when today’s cameras are considered vintage!
