How to get parking mode to work?

Thanks again. I understand now theres no setting called "normal parking mode" that was just a term you used to describe settings like "Auto Event Detection", "LPID" etc..
LPID is not one of the "Normal Parking Mode" options only Auto Event Detection, Time-Lapse, and Low Bitrate are in that grouping of parking modes.

So the short answer is the way my current settings are set are probably the best in terms of the longest I can get in a buffering parking recording and without getting a flat battery as battery cut off is set at 12.2v.
Yes?
To get buffered parking mode recordings you have to use one of the three "Normal Parking Mode" options. 12.2V is probably as low as I would go with a low voltage cut-off feature setting if that's the cut-off setting that will turn off the dash camera. There's always a little bit of wiggle room +/- 0.1V or even 0.2V when it comes to the accuracy of the voltage cut-off circuitry being used in any dash camera.

I also fail to see any benefit to having even a 2 second delay after an impact detection. In my opinion that's useless as there would be no evidence to prove if someone bumped into your car. Yes you would probably know what happened and that's better than having no idea how it happened but for insurance I dont see how it could be used.

I like the setting of a Hybrid Parking: Event Detection > Impact and so it works as how ai have my parking mode currently in Buffering Parking Event Detection and then switches to Low Bitrate Impaxt Detection rather than it shutting off completely.
It's good you can set it for however many hours you like ie 8 hours etc...

For me I get 15 hours in Auto Event Detection. So if I set.it to say 14 hours, does that mean it will stay in Low Bitrate Imoact Detection for much longer than 15 hours ie after my 15 hours mark when my car battery reaches 12.2 v?

Thanks,.hang on when you said

My current parking mode setting is set to "Auto Event Detection" isn't that a buffering parking mode recordings.which records clips 15 seconds before impact?

Auto Event Detection is ONE of the three "Normal Recording Modes". You'll get buffered motion and buffered impact videos using that one.
