ironic that the traffic report on the radio was talking about an overturned vehicle... right as the trailer overturned.

how did the trailer lose an entire axle??

Yeah audio was perfect timing, at first i was expecting the camera to reach that overturned vehicle, and then all hell break loose

left me thinking
#1. camera car was lucky
#2. not the proper place to unload scrap metal

how did the trailer lose an entire axle??

Not sure about these trailer but some trailer has sliding axles to move forward or back depending on the trailer load and local regulation. They are supposed to be locked down when they are on road but if a driver forgets to lock down the axles, it can fly off and cause wrecks.
