Initially SD Card message

I re-formatted my card today and now this is the only thing that is happening. I am constantly getting this message - "Initializing SD card, please do not turn off power". How do I solve this issue. I've tried to different 64GB cards and can't seem to overcome the issue. I reformatted with the blackvue viewer, per the instructions.

How long did you wait? When I inserted my new Lexar sd card, it took a few minutes to initialize.

I have waited up to 60 minutes. Is there a place I can buy another preformatted card? thanks

the standard response from Blackvue will be to use one of their cards, it seems the camera can be a bit fussy about what cards it supports

Did you download the SD formatter? I formatted mine on the PC first and then inserted it to the dash cam. Worked fine for me.
