K1S split screen on playback?

I'm wondering if the K1S can show the matching front and rear camera recordings simultaneously (split screen) when playing back on the DVR screen, or can it only do a split screen when monitoring the cameras in real time? (I saw a picture of the split screen in the online user manual)

No, only live. The K1S creates two separate files at the same time (cam1xxxxx.mp4 and cam2xxxxx.mp4) on the sdxc. Like Pier28 stated, using a good rendering program, you can sync them up into one file (side by side ... or ... I think the preferred is top and bottom).

Could live show front cam or rear cam or front and rear cam,if you like,could also connect DVD player to sync video
