Lukas 7900 error message

Hi everyone

I'm getting an error message -ERR2 on the device but for the life of me I can't find anything in the troubleshooting section explaining what it means.

Does anyone have an idea or a pointer?

AC31 installed. Bought camera about 3 weeks ago. Lukas card installed.

Same with and without the card inserted? If you just get missing memory card error instead without the card try formatting the card in the viewer software or try a different card.

no the message didn't appear without the card so consequently I've formatted the card in the Lukas viewer and reseated it. I've only run the car for a few minutes but the error message hasn't reappeared. I'll take it for a longer run tomorrow and see then. Thanks.

I wonder if the card wasn't safely removed from the PC on an occasion which is why there was something wrong with its filesystem.

Err2 appears when memory card needs formatting.

Thanks for the info but unfortunately Err2 doesn't appear at all in the manual?

I reformatted the card (in the program), reseated it, no more error messages.
Jazzist - that was probably the case.
