More than I can review. ;)
This is for Android phones or tablets.
I am using Galaxy Note II with Android version 4.3 for this installation and instruction.

You can install either by,
In the manual there is the app code you can scan to download.
Or,
I went the old fashion way to google store and searched for 'Lukas' that brought way too many apps.
Searching for Lukas Eye phrase is the one you want to search as it brings it to the top:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qrontech.lukas

Click on the app and install it.
If you are on your desktop/laptop, you have to logon to your Google/gmail account to install in your phone/tablet. Lukas-app2.jpg

Once the app is installed, this is the screen you'll see:

This is where it'll get little tricky.
Only the 'Information' will work if the Lukas LK-7950WD camera is not powered on.

Information:
This gives version, firmware etc... information of the app as shown below:

For the SD Card, Settings and LUKAS Connection to work, you have to have the dashcam on with SD and microSD cards, wifi dongle attached and turned on but you have to setup the connection first before you can do anything else.

Plug the provided charger and switch the power button to on.
Note: The dashcam has microUSB, miniUSB and it's own power ports on top so make sure to use the provided charger.
DO NOT USE MICRO USB OR MINI USB CAR or WALL CHARGER TO TEST the camera.
The miniUSB is for rear camera and microUSB is for OBD function, NOT FOR POWER.

Once the dashcam is powered on, press on LUKAS Connection icon.
It'll add a new LUKAS wifi hotspot in your available connections.
Connect to that connection with default 11111111 password:

Once connected, you'll have access to other icons in the app.

Press on SD Card icon to access files in the camera:
You can filter on different types of videos by pressing 'Front', 'Rear', 'Always', 'Event', 'Motion Detection'.
Press on the video file to play and press the down arrow next to file size to download a copy to your phone.
The icons with half front and rear of the car on the top red bar is to live stream video from front and rear camera.
I'll have to use it tomorrow morning to setup location for my rear camera so I can avoid heating elements from being directly in the view.

Playing a test front video file: in the garage so not much to see except holes in the drywall. :D

Playing a test rear video file: it's on the rear seat, not attached yet. Waiting for daylight.

More settings to follow after I get a nap...

Interestingly, while I was checking menu settings, it was recording so now I have a lot of video files.

That's it folks for the settings. There are more options once you go into sub-menu dropdowns but they are pretty much self explanatory.

I am having some difficulty getting into SD Card mode after being in LUKAS Connection.
It may need to be off to access SD Card or something. Need to test more.

The Android app works very good and very fast.

Figured that out. :)
SD Card doesn't mean SD Card of the camera but my phone's memory.
When I press on SD Card icon, it shows the videos that I have downloaded from camera to my phone.

BTW, I just realized that I was taking videos in not the highest available quality.
Here in US, we are used to 'Low', 'Medium' and 'High' settings for quality.
However, the menu has 'Normal', 'High' and 'Highest' video setting.
I had it on 'High' and thought that's the max available but need to switch to 'Highest'... ;)
Quality is little bit better than 'High' setting but I didn't see much difference in file size.

Also understand how the G-sensor menu works.
I changed to 4G thinking that's more insensitive but it's the opposite.
1 is most insensitive so obviously 4G made it more sensitive and recorded incidents even on some bumps.
It's back down to 3G for now. ;)

Usually, I think 4G means 4x gravity so should be more sensitive but it's the other way around here.
It also gives option to create your own custom G values. Nice!

Too bad it doesn't say what's new.
I haven't checked it out yet.

FW FI09 will be available soon?

My Lukas Android app has been updated to ver. 1.3.0 and recently shows FI09 and FW file (LK-7950WD_NORMAL_Fi09.zip) in Firmware Download menu, however nothing could be downloaded yet.

Great catch!!
I just checked what the latest firmware that lukas offers us for the LK7950 and we are still receiving FI07.
I am sure FI09 will be out soon.

Firmware upgraded to Fi11.
I downloaded firmware in the phone using Lukas app, much easier than downloading and then transferring in the SD card.

Filesize has no difference in Fi07 and Fi11, front is still 160mb and rear 115mb:

All the tests above were done on my Note II with android 4.3 so should be same on Note III as well.
What problem/error are you having?

Hey Sunny,

Jopie's Note 3 is not allowing him to connect to the LK7950 Wifi. When he tries to connect he gets the error saying there is not internet. Which is normal because the Camera is not providing a actual internet connection. However after that message it just drops the connection.

I tested it out on the Galaxy 3 I have, and the first time I tried I got the same error, then the second time I touched connect it connected perfectly.

I am not a android user, and I am out of ideas!
