@hear-nowhere
I currently have the SanDisk Max Endurance 128GB in my A229 pro. However, I feel like this is not enough space. I wanted to get the SanDisk 512GB, but unfortunately it's only available for the "High Endurance" model and NOT the "Max Endurance" on Amazon. Same thing for the 256GB size (technically it is available on Amazon but through a third-party vendor and the price is much higher than the 512GB high endurance). For reference, the 128GB max endurance and 512GB high endurance are $36.99 and $69.99 respectively on Amazon (before tax). Any idea if Walmart of Best Buy (or another recommendation) has the 512GB max endurance card?
If anyone can confirm that the 512GB high endurance works then I will just get that one instead. Thanks in advance.
I tend to order memory directly from the manufacturer; that way, I know I am getting authentic memory and, hopefully, the latest and greatest in terms of production run. I emailed SanDisk a few years ago and asked how to tell if an Amazon vendor was selling authentic SanDisk memory. Their reply was that if it is sold and shipped by Amazon, then the memory is authentic. That does not mean other Amazon vendors do not have authentic memory. Manufacturers tend not ship as fast as Amazon, but you will get authentic memory.
Here, you can read about the High Endurance, SD claims it is for dashcams. Maybe so.

Oddly enough, SD has a line of SDXC cards they claim are for manufacturers of dashcams, etc. However, looking at R/W specs, they are lower than on the High or Max Endurance.

There is probably a reason there is no 512 Max Endurance from SanDisk. I have used the Kingston 512GB Canvas Go in my A229 Pro without any problems. I will say, though, that manufacturers are generally loath to say 512GB or 1TB works, and for good reason. I have used the same Kingston in 512GB and 1TB in my Vueroid S1-4K without any issues, but Vueroid does not recommend the 1TB. I might be lucky, but I also format the cards about once a month.
