MicroSD card extension cable??

I seem to do my thinking when I am asleep and wake up in the middle of the night with cool ideas.
I have been thinking how the hell am I going to stealth install my Mobius and still get at the SD Card.
dawned on me last night if I could only find an extension cable for the SD card I would be right.
so I googled and sure enough

They seem to work ok, the ones I saw were all on Amazon so not familiar with that eBay one. The other good thing is you can use a WiFi enabled full size SD card as well.

still confuses me, are these a SD card PLUS an access point all in one? so you can connect to these like an access point and download stuff on the card? and they work on any SD card slot?

Smart phone compatible and auto cloud upload etc.

Should be ok since they are engineered to work off standard SD power sources very low-power electronics inside.
