Mini 0805 indicator light

I just tried the Mini 0805 for the first time and have a couple of questions.

1. Some times the indicator light is blue and sometimes it switched between blue and red.
What does this mean?

2. About 30 minutes into the drive the screen went off but the indicator light remained solid red.
Then a few minutes later that red light went off.
What does this mean?

1) Flashing blue = loop recording
Solid red = charging
Flashing blue + solid red = charging & loop recording, steadies to flashing blue once charged as per above.

2) Charging. No idea why it stopped recording. Check you're not using a fake card?

Maybe I should turn off the shutdown feature.
The card is a Samsung 32g class 10.
I used this before in my phone without issues.

I think you've answered your own question...

Yep, turn off the shutdown feature. Let the ignition control the shutdown or just unplug it from cigarette lighter socket if it's permanently live.

Have you formatted the card in the camera?
The shut down feature is just when the camera stops getting power

unplug it from cigarette lighter socket if it's permanently live.

If you will be plugging in and out often I suggest leaving it plugged into a socket splitter with a switch.
