Modding the ITB-100SP

I don't have the hardware yet, but messing around with the SP binaries on the HD shows that the bitrate is lower than the 100HD.

100 HD = 7Mbps
100 SP = 6 Mbps

They double the audio bitrate though. Interesting...

My SP is coming next week from Apple-CT so I'll have a mod out shortly. Seems pretty simple actually.

I think I'll break out my SP. Dust it off and use it again. I'll be going to Negril for a while and I want to bring a DC with me. The low profile will be a better selection than my Lukas LK-7900. I am wondering how many drivers use them and how well my driver will welcome such a device. We'll find out. The last time I held a Sony Handycam so this will be a welcome change.
