It would be nice to know the type of display and its marking...
It would be easier to find a color reversal switch on the display...
You can try the script to select the type of display:
    t app test chg_LCD 0
    Code:
    The LCDpanelIdx list:
    0: LCD_WDF9648W (default)
    1: LCD_T30P61
    2: LCD_T20P52
    3: LCD_T27P05

The only thing I can see from the LCD/TFT screen is some code on the connector otherwise the LCD is all black no other part number on it

wow, what u do is amazing! I will pass by now, as the only mod I would need is higher bitrate in 4K (I am used to my Yi 2 4K with custom bitrate at >100Mbit, and the standard 60Mbit of my T5E is a bit limiting....), but congrats for your work!

the firmware works good, the only problem I find is that when you touch connect in the app to connect with wifi cam, the cam freezes and you ust remuve the battery. Another question that I have is: the color 1 profile is the same colors of the stock firmware?
Why if I want to make a nightlapse, i cannot set in the same time a long expousure and a time lapse phote interval? If I set once, the other switch to off. Thank you!

adocal, all basic parameters and control logic are implemented by Ambarella and the manufacturer at the stage of compiling the firmware.
I can edit only those parameters that I know. I'm trying to find something new for correction in firmware.
Ambarella and producers do not give instructions and SDK, which could facilitate the process of modification.
About the amount of time I will not even say...)

thanks! just a quick question: is the increased bitrate (i.e. 4K at 80Mbit) valid for NTSC only, or also when use PAL at 25fps?

To be honest, I just have the default settings.
In other modes, I did not check the bitrate.
There is a bug in the modified firmware.
If you shoot in 4K, the camera freezes when you go to the menu.
    The video is recorded normally.
With the other types of resolutions, there are no problems with video.

thanks for your honest reply, but now I have another question: when you say camera freezes once you go to the menu (I assume after you have initially set recording to 4k), does it mean you cannot ever go to the menu anymore? I mean....if I want to change settings, I will not be able to do that anymore (once I set the camera to record in 4k)?? If so, I would rather pass and wait for an eventual mod without this issue...:-(

I'm trying to catch this bug.
In the meantime, you can safely shoot in 4K with the default settings.
You do not need to go to the menu. Everything is configured optimally by default.
I shoot video in the resolution of 2704x1520p and all video downscale in 1080p.
    No problem...)
