Hi, thanks for reading! This is my first time posting here. I'm new to the dashcam scene and would like some input from the community. I live in CA, and do about 70% daytime driving and about 30% nighttime driving. I am looking for a 1 CH style camera and I don't really mind if it is discrete or not.

Areas of concern:

Budget is anywhere from $200-$300 USD.

Video Quality is extremely important to me. I've been leaning towards Sony CMOS as they seem to produce very good.

Capacitor over battery for me. Summer days go well in the hundreds and a battery would be wasting my time and money in the long run.

GPS should be a standard at this price point.. I hope.

CPL filter would be great, but if I'll be okay if it doesn't have it.

WiFi/Parking aren't necessary, but are a plus.

Currently leaning towards the SG9665GC v2, but keeping an open mind.

Thanks again for reading!:)
