New owner of a Mini 0805

Hi, after some reading I went for the mini 0805

Got one problem, the camera is stuck in "USB Connecting...". This happened when I tried to connect it to my computer (laptop running win 8.1). And I got a message telling me that a unknown usb device was found.

Any way to shut it down manually? I obviously tried holding in the power button, but it's unresponsive to that.

Maybe I just need to wait until the battery drains?

Have you tried holding the power button for 10-20 seconds? That usually forces a full reset if you do that?

Worst case the battery shouldn't last too long

I can't understand why the rotation only goes upwards?

Since it's hanging in my roof I do want it to tilt downwards a littlebit.

As above, try a reset.

My screen went blank during setup and was completely stuck.

I tried pressing and holding down the power button for 10 sec but it didn't work.

Posted on this forum and while waiting for a reply tried the press and hold down again, this time I just kept it pressed down until it reset, about 14/15 seconds.

All good and working well.

It's designed to mount on the glass and then it will go both up and down. You might need to add a wedge under the base for mounting it on the roof, make the wedge roughly the same angle as a normal windscreen.

The 0806 has twice as much rotation if you are ever buying a second.
