Hello my bett halfs GPS module has seemingly come apart, the module has fallen out. I'm not sure where to plug the cable back In,

Any way to find this out or purchase a new module.

just wondering if this is where this cable should go and if so how does it lock in there?

If you want my opinion, the Nextbase 1 series is now old and maybe time to bin it and look at newer dashcams with better resolutions and super capacitors.
