I recently had a collision where another vehicle veered into my lane, but my insurance is saying it's going to be tricky to prove I'm not at fault without the footage. As I was relying on my dashcam footage, I only took minimal photos/videos at the scene - rookie error!
When I connected the mobile app to the dashcam it said SD card not detected, but there was a 32GB nextbase card in there; so I purchased an SD card reader from amazon. There are a few random videos in the "video" folder - one of my parked vehicle post the accident and one of me walking past my parked vehicle months before the accident - but absolutely nothing from that day, certainly no footage of all the recent journeys I'd made. In the "protected" folder there are a lot of files, however there are no recordings post March 2023...
Has anyone experienced this before/is there a strange hack to find the footage? Crossing all my fingers.
