Possible delay on fuse power?

Hi,
I’m in the process of hard wiring my partners dashcam, I’ve opted for a switched fuse and gone for the rear windscreen wiper.

However the dashcam stays on after the car is switched off and doors locked. How could this be? Or is it likely the fuse may have some sort of delay? Is this a thing…?

What dashcam ?

Some do stay on for a while after power is lost.

Some modern cars have some circuits powered for a little while, but i must admit i am surprised that the windscreen wiper are one of them, it is more often cabin or even the headlights that are on.

Anyway if it turn off you are good, dont matter much if you "waste" a few minutes after parking.
