Possible power issue?

I did not have this issue before. When I start my car the dashcam turns on the screen only stays on for about 1 second then turns off. The cam still record footage. If I stop recording and try to access the menu the screen will not come on. No matter what I try to do the screen will not come on. If I plug the dashcam into the phone charger everything works fine.

As I said I didn't have this issue before. I don't know why i have issue now.

What's your current firmware and what's the serial number off the back plate? Are you using the original cigarette adapter power cord or hard wire kit? (Or generic 3rd party miniUSB cable?) Which make model size memory card is in use? What type of vehicle? You might need a new power supply based on the wall charger test. You're covered under warranty.

Ah yes that's more likely now that I re-read the OP

Make sure GPS isn't plugged into the wrong AV port next to it by mistake.

Oh yeah now I look at the ports yeah I plugged the gps into wrong port.

It is now fixed. Thanks for your help.
