My friends 2012 Mercedes station wagon have assisted rear hatch, so do not get slammer.
My cheap JAP and now French 5 door hatch cars do get slammed, normally of course no anger slams, though i think it would be no problem.
The big neodymium magnet in the pic above, to pull it strait off my metal computer case side door, i need to exert a at least 5 kilos pull to get it off
