I have just come across a few sites claiming from a few months ago that 2016 might be the year for a Mustang UTE that will make it state side.
Although some of the posts seem to be from April 1st.

Does anyone know if this is an April Fools joke or if there is some true consideration to this.
 
Will it get leaf springs to go with the antiquated live rear axle? :eek:

I'm just a huge Ute fan. I'd get rid of my Camaro in a second to get my hands on a newer El Camino, Ford Falcon, Ranchero or this Mustang Ute If any of them existed state side and did not cost +50K like Lefthand Utes in Denver
