S1 Pro MAX

yes my memory cards do move around testing compatibility, but they are of course always getting a in camera format.
This have not been a problem before.

Regarding moving the SIM card around, this is new to me, but i cant see why / how it could be a problem
Mind you i have found out this evening that right now i can not LET into the S1 even if the APP do say LET is connected, but the camera can not wake up it seem
 
Must be a bug somewhere, my lte just connect randomly, now 3 day's ago. Most of the time doesn't wake up. πŸ˜’

Latest camera firmware say it's fixed? But still unable to wake up.
 
Just home after 450 km road trip and camera didn't even connect to the LTE Module once. According to the vantrue map the car I located 50ΒΏ km from home, 2 day's ago.

I have turned lte module/cam on and off many times. The signal bars on the LTE Module changes "normally '. And it say connected in the app but it never mange to connect to the camera (never managed to wake up camera).

The camera do show lte module connected.

Both lte module and camera running latest firmware.

Why?

Just took a look at the memory card and all i have for the drive to the shop are 3 short ( second ) video clips.
Here i also notice there is nothing saved from the rear camera, both cameras have been working fine on trips after this one, but i will inspect connections also today.

BUT !
I also noticed from 18:07 to 18:17 the camera have done nothing but create event recordings ( G-sensor on default sensitivity setting )'
G-sensor should be off for driving, but even if on the roads here are not that bad so never seen so many events due to bumps with other systems.

I am currently using a Kingston select plus memory card in the camera, other than this there have been no issues that would make me think " this memory card is no good for this system "

Could you please try using a Vantrue SD card?
I’ve also sent you a new firmware via email, which will be officially released later this week. Please update your dash cam and check if it resolves the issue.

Just downloaded the firmware, will take a drive / install shortly.

I only have a 128 GB Vantrue memory card, small for a system this powerful, but i will try it.
 
The S1 PRO Max have found its way into my new car today, mind you just the front camera of the system, and a quick install using the 12 V port in the dashboard / center console.

Things are a bit bad & hectic here ATM.
First of all the weather not terrible well suited for installing dashcams out in the open.
Secondly my old mother fell a good week ago and got a open fracture on her lower leg, so she have been at the hospital until today.
This latter thing resulted in me getting more calls in the past week than i have gotten the previous 6 months, and with my " issue " with phones this is extremely frustrating.

But at least now i can document my own driving and that of other in front of me, that go a very long way VS driving around " naked " which i have done for like 3-4 days in a row.

The S1Prro Max of course performing admirably until now, approaching a year of service as my #1 system.

I am wanting to get some footage in, to see if this new car throw more light into the oncoming lane so i done have to " cheat " to be able to capture plates on oncoming cars.
The new ( 2022 ) car have LED light in the front, i think tonight i will go take a short drive around town to see what i can get, will be my first night drive in the new car.
 
O yes, headlights on new car much better, captured plates left and right on my past midnight drive 😎

It’s great to hear the S1 Pro Max is still performing strongly!
 
O yes, now i just need to make the install more permanent and install the rear camera too.
And of course make a dash mat, the new car have horrible reflections all over the place, and i will prefer a mat over using a CPL filter.

But it would seem the summer have finally planned to visit Denmark after next weekend. πŸ˜†

She is in a better place now jeff, heaven i assume, mother died Friday morning.
 
Can someone please 10000% confirm to me if this VanTrue S1 Pro Max has a "Collision prebuffer emergency lock option DURING driving" that means if during driving I click on "Emergency lock" or "say some voice command" that it will pre-buffer record 30secs before the event when I clicked and merge with next 30 secs after my click. (be careful: I don't want this to be in the range of parking/g-sensor automatically, I want to CLICK or SAY MANUALLY to pre-buffer record my video when driving at some event moment that I've seen and then to be locked). Thank you for answer.
