Some IQ questions/issues

I find 50/50 split works well with the SG9665GC, but going strait into the sun or along a road with sun on one side and shade on the other will allways be problematic.
I have seen much worse from other cameras.

I have 2 pics grabbed of footage going strait at sun, its the 9665GC and the jovuu x cam i use.

The amount of changes in the scene per frame doesn't actually change the load on the processor/cmos/software at all, it's always constant.
CMOS might get a different load depending on the lighting conditions though (darker image -> more overdrive applied on the CMOS), but the compression is and always will apply the same load.

Yeah, recording compression rate is the same.

As I understood @alexp999 was talking about "blocks" a.k.a as "pixelation" / blocks in some scenes especially when driving nearby trees ?

quite a lot of compression blocking too, .

Quick night time comparison with old and new firmware (I'll try and revisit somewhere in daytime too for comparison):
