I've been using the SG9663DC for 5 years now. using two usb packs, two SD cards an a 4 channel relay for parking mode 5 frs per second 24 hours almost every day.The dash cam has been excellent
small hiccups here and there. A week after fitting car was damaged by a bin lorry that done a runner £400. About two years later hit and run managed to get reg and it was at night. the bill to the other insurance company must have been at least a couple a thousand with car hire and taking longer to prepare. Then January this year another bin lorry £663.00. No cost to me just the inconvenience.
Now recently the cam has been acting up, date/time going back to default, intermittent no recording in parking mode. seems to be fine with normal recording.
Question? The tiny battery that's soldered inside I presume is rechargeable . does anyone have the spec, voltage type etc or changed the battery before. I opened the cam, just had a quick look and took a picture, you can see the shrink rap on the capacitors has started to split . Was hoping to keep it longer as hoping to change car.
Thanks, any info welcome
