Stuck on the welcome screen

I googled around and see a few options that people use to fix it

I tried checking the ribbon cable connections, it looks like it's firmly connected
I tried updating the firmware
I tried pressing the resetting button
I tried swapping different microsd
I tried boot up with no card

None of this method works. What's the latest firmware?

Model a118c-b40c. I bought it from Gearbest

Oh...I guess I have to contact them. On the original vs copy, it looks like they are having similar issue

can happen with any camera, the Viofo firmware won't help you though, you'll need to talk to Gearbest about getting it replaced, wish you luck with them and hope it works out

Hi guys, I am new here. I had the same problem with my camera( don't know what type it is, bought it in Bangkok, shoots 4k, wifi...). What I discovered is that if I remove the battery and then connect power cable to camera it immediately starts working, then I put battery in again and tried with the battery and it's working, for now. If it freezes again I will try the same thing. Just wanted to let you guys know of this solution, might help somebody.
