Transcend 520 Pro - charging question

Hello, I have a transcend 520 pep dash cam and have a question about charging the unit.

I have a cord that I plugged into my house, and powers & charges the dash cam when it’s plugged in, but I’m wondering if the unit will stay charging if I turn the power button off.

I don’t need it to be recording when I have it plugged in inside my house. I’m just trying to charge it when I’m not driving since my commute to work is less than 3 min.

Hopefully this made sense and someone can answer my question.

I'm not sure but most cams do charge the battery whenever they receive outside power even with the cam off, so this one probably does too.
