U1000 Video Quality

New to dash cams, I am hoping someone can tell me if this is normal. I just got a Thinkware U1000 and when using the 4K 30 FPS I get a lot of things like power lines and other thin object looking very blocky like if it were a diagonal line in MS paint. When using the 2K 60 PFS it is not nearly as bad. Is this normal? Is this because it is only 30FPS? I will attach photos of each. Also I noticed in 4K that darker object will sometime have a white border around them

Also what settings would you suggest I use? 4K 30FPS or 2K 60 FPS?
