Unit does not turn on when I start vehicle

Doing HW in my friends car ( Dacia MCV ) with the basic SH power supply i tapped inth the steel structure that hold the entire fuse box, worked fine but it was a little tricky to tap the M3 thread in the hole i drilled.

Moving the camera to his "new" Mercedes estate i sort of did the same, though there was a bolt there instead, but in that car finding a ACC fuse,,,,, OMG

relocating the ground still needs to be done also

Forgive my ignorance, but I don't know how to message @Street Guardian USA. Can I email Jon since I have been in contact with him? Also, should I postpone my visit to the professional installer until I receive and install the pre-tested hardwire kit?

Email is fine, yes better to wait until you get the new hardwire kit in case it needs replacing
