G1W-C
Hello fellow dash cam enthusiasts! After reading several articles, reviews and forum posts on this site, I have just purchased the G1W-C from seller dreamlover2013 on eBay.

I would like to have the G1W running while I am inside the store making a purchase or running a quick errand somewhere. Would I be able to power the camera with one of those phone battery banks? The product I'm thinking of is below;

Yes you can. Just need a USB to miniUSB cable so you can unplug USB plug from cigarette lighter charger and connect it into power back for the time you are out from the car.

Edit: not "power back", but Power Bank ! My typo [emoji3]

Great, that's the answer I was looking for. Thanks for the quick reply niko :)

I am happy to recommend you this one: Xiaomi 10400 mAh power bank, only one output though , 2.1 A

It is very popular and guaranteed 10400 mAh. I also have it, and very satisfied to it.

Please remember, this same applies to all power banks, it is not recommended to simultaneously charge & use the power bank. So, you should only perform each of those at once. Like, when you are using the camera with power bank, you shouldn't charge it (Actually, this is possible, but not recommended.)

Thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out!
