Do you mean it is now better than was 1.03, or better than before you did the reset?

Well, I mean 2.6 version.. I did upgrade to new version, then reset setting to default and then change setting as I wanted.. I set HDR on in night and off in day and looks promising, license plate seems more readable with HDR and that's my purpose.. I did not apply this approach on version 1.03 so I can't compare 2.6 and 1.03 but result could be interesting. Probably I will stay on 2.6 , parking mode works properly as well..

Can anyone comment on the recently updated and current "official" firmware:
V2.6_20241031 with Release Date: October 31, 2024?
especially as it relates to other 2.6 versions and/or version 1.03?

I have been using version V2.6_20220808 for the last 2 years, but just recently needed to make out a motorcycle's license plate, but it wasn't clear enough, so I was thinking of trying 1.03. But then I saw this much newer release of 2.6.

I made 3 footages with different version just for comparing
1.03 version

2.6 day

2.6 night hdr off

2.6 night hdr on

V2.6_20241031 night hdr on

Seems to me, that new version 20241031 is more bright in night and due that I set exposure to lower as in previous version -1.0 instead of -2/3. I think I will go even lower for -1.3.

The best to watch in 1440p.

Safe to assume firmware development for the V3 is dead and larger microSD card compatibility won't be added?
