Viofo 119s GPS stamping not working

I bought this cam of amazon about 2 weeks ago. Hard wired it and all and using the GPS mount. They sent me the new version with better clips. I enabled the setting to have GPS on and all info on stamps for GPS. I see the red mph and sattelite on screen but the mph doesn't change from 0 and when I play the videos, all that speed info and coordinates don't display. I lowered the fps to 30 and still nothing. Is my gps mount faulty? Should I do a return to amazon or am I missing something? Also hate that it's already glued on and have to undo it from windshield in case I do have to return it. Anyone else experience this?
