@jokiin How is the A118CV2 similar enough to be stable if things are being changed, or is it just the lens?
Also, how will we know we are buying the V2 version from a retailer. Will there be a physical visible clue when looking at it?
it's best to avoid sticking anything on demister lines, but as long as you're careful when removing it later on (don't use metal tools and work SLOWLY and gently!) it should be fine. just try to position it so that there isn't a line in the middle of the lens - that's annoying!@harsh do you know if I can stick a mount of dashcam on strips from heated rear window? Or I have to do it between strips?

Suction cup probably won't stick over defroster lines since they are rough and raised up a little so it won't seal. And what about sucker Type of mount on The rear window?
Is this ever coming out?
Why not improve it, to leave it as is and not improve it would make them no different than the other Chinese suppliers, it's good to see at least one Chinese supplier that wants to do the right thing
The time and effort required to improve the A118 is minimal in the scheme of things and won't impact the A119 development process, it's worth doing just to make a clear distinction between the Viofo version and the copies as those with the copy are getting a free ride at the moment and the biggest loser in that is the end user that buys a fake without knowing it
Hi Jokiin, does that mean the blueskysea branded A118C is also fake unit?

What happened to me 🙂 It actually worked pretty well except for being unreliable in the summer.the biggest loser in that is the end user that buys a fake without knowing it
