It's a bright clear sunny day today and I thought this would be a good time to clean and upgrade everything.
I have also noticed this forum is pleased with the stability of Firmware 4.0.
I've had my A119S 1 yr & 8 mo and presently used Ver 2.6 with no issues or problems.
However, due to the good feedback recommendations on V 4.0 I decided to upgraded today.
For the new menu items I chose MP4 Video Format, New Sharpness normal and Bitrate normal.
Upgrade went smooth as silk so I'm a happy camper with my A119S.
UPDATE:
Installed for a week, works great, here is my 34 Menu Settings:
01 RESOLUTION – 1920 x 1080p 60fps
02 BITRATE - Normal (Default)
03 LOOP RECORDING – 5 minutes
04 VIDEO FORMAT – MP4 (Default)
05 EXPOSURE – +0.0
06 WDR – ON
07 SHARPNESS – Normal (Default)
08 PARKING MODE - OFF
09 Time Lapse - OFF
10 Motion Detection - OFF
11 GPS – ON
12 SPEED UNITS – kph
13 G SENSOR – Medium
14 LDWS - OFF
15 FCWS - OFF
16 DATE STAMP – ON
17 GPS STAMP - OFF (Coordinates, Speed)
18 CAMERA MODEL - ON
19 RECORD AUDIO – ON
20 SCREEN SAVER – 3 minutes
21 BOOT DELAY – 5 seconds
22 LED - OFF
23 DATE & TIME – ON
24 TIME ZONE – -4 Daylight Saving, change to -5 for Standard Time
