I find it odd they changed the operation of the menu button to long press.
I understand long press to power off the camera but not long press to enter the menu.

I've got a feeling it's so that you don't have to stop recording first before entering the menu. Which was a bit of a pain point previously I found.

I agree that was a pain having to stop recording.
This will feel like something is wrong and I'll have to remember A229 Pro is different from all the other cameras. I've been "trained" long press = Power Down

Absolutely, will require a re wiring for me as well but it's probably something that should have been there from launch
