VIOFO A229 Pro with Vantrue hardwire kit

Can someone help me understand why the Vantrue USB C hard wire kit given below is not compatible with VIOFO A229 Pro parking mode? It powers it fine but it doesn’t seem to go into parking mode when the car is turned off. The hardwire kit works fine with Vantrue N4 Pro parking mode.

The red and yellow wires are likely different. Try swapping them.

I tried this suggestion but parking mode still doesn’t work as expected. Maybe the hardwire kit isn’t comparable.

Check if the pins inside the connector are in the same spot, that's most likely the reason the cables are not compatible, they use different pins to trigger parking mode.
