What would you like in the next firmware for 119S

Ok but when this firmware update that adds HDR to the A119 comes out, will the same firmware update add HDR to the A119S?

what they do for the Omnivision sensor won't apply to Sony, think of it like a driver update, the Sony uses a different instruction set but does offer a similar functionality, they (Novatek) would have to offer an update to suit the Sony also, these things take time so I wouldn't expect to see anything too soon

My conclusion was that even though the A119 has a wider-angle field of view, the numbers on the plates were sharper than from the A119S.

I thought the number plates were clearer as well as other detail from lit signs was better on the A119s footage.

Edit: Easier to read due to being brighter.

Something EASY like the ability to NOT OVERWRITE old files and instead send a beeping sound to alert driver of low disk space (customizable, I'll set mine to 3GB=20 mins). I frequently go on road trips and found that my 64GB Sandisk High Endurance card can only hold just a lil over 6 hrs. Keeping tracks of how many hours I've been on the road to swap out the memory card has become a ANNOYING/FUTILE CHORE!

doesn't have to be high endurance, just buy a quality U3 card if you want larger than 64GB

Thanks. But NO THANKS! I've read enough BAD REVIEWS on these cards in terms of dashcam usage not to WASTE my money on them. If I win the Powerball tonight, I'll buy a crate full of it for sure. But not before!

There's no quality U3 card larger than 64GB for now! That's the problem. Hence the feature request!

sure there is, the negative feedback I see on these is more a reflection on the cameras they're being used in rather than the cards themselves, other issue as always is to make sure to buy genuine, there's a lot of fake cards out there
