1440p is the shortened name for a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution. Do you often use it to record video?

OP is a retailer so this is some free research for them.

I use 1440P on my A119 and 2560x1080 on my mini 0805.

10 years, many dashcams
In short anything 1080p and over will do, but you cant go too high with current cameras as you will then loose night time performance.
The people using 1440p are often on cameras using the OV4689 sensor.

Numerous and ever-changing
1080P30 here on all my dashcams. Good enough daytime and about as good as you can get while driving at night ;) 1440P (or more) can do better daytime, but with most cams you have to manually reconfigure that at night for best results which some will forget to do and is always a hassle. The "X" cam does this automatically via time settings, but then seasons change and cloudy days are darker sooner so that isn't a great solution, just better than nothing perhaps.

It will take a lot of thought, programming work, and hardware capability to create a cam which adjusts itself to all conditions by changing the basic settings to whatever is best at that exact moment. That is the direction I would like to see more progress in :D

I heard that the Viofo A119s when set to 60fps will automatically drop down to 30fps when light is insufficient for 60fps ... and more suited to 30fps.
