What's Happening With Street Guardian?

Their forum has been demoted to one of the "Other Brands" and very few posts these days. Are they going out of business? I thought this used to to be one of the main prominent brands.

Back in November '21 the owner and founder (user @jokiin) passed away. The company is still operating but, being as he was the driving force, it's not what it used to be.

Sadly, Street Guardian as a viable company seems to be a dead man walking. It has been a long time now since we've seen a new, up to date offering from them, even if the business itself is still "alive".

As of this afternoon you had no awareness of the sad turn of events at Street Guardian but now you're somehow in a position to comment on other people's thoughts and opinions who knew Ric and followed the development of Street Guardian since before it even became a viable company and had brought a single product to market? It is what it is. A company that vaguely seems to still be in business but hasn't brought a new product to market since jokiin passed away is a kind of ghost of an enterprise reflective of the fate of its founder. You can call it whatever you like my friend.
