noticed at startup it would give the "on your smartphone connect to wifi" message,
which shouldn't be played, as i'm in hotspot mode.

Then tried to connect with my phone, but got "password incorrect" (it definitely was correct)

only option left was to reset camera (hold mic & record button until 5 beeps are heard)

this fixed the problem, but after having reset my setting, i ended with switching from 2.4 to 5.2gh

camera restarted (normal) but then again, it said "wrong password"

so had to reset again.

did all the settings.. again, except for switching to 5.2gh.

all is setup as before, including the hotspot connection, but clearly something's not right

Could it be the heat... or is the wifi starting to become defective... ?

I know it an be a million things, but pleased to hear if anymore here has had the same problems

Well, camera works, but it keeps resetting the hotspot settings.
and still impossible to connect my phone via wifi as it says password not correct.
camera just over a year old, so no more warranty

unhooked camera and left it for several hours
this seems to have done the trick, as looks like all is working again as it should (wifi, cloud...)
fingers crossed
