I have an old car with lot of small scratches in the windshield.
I have read that Cerium oxide can polish these scratches away.
Is this the right product for that purpose. Does any know what size I should go for.

Sure you can polish with just about anything with a fine enough particle size, i would like a lot of aluminum and iron oxide as i have a large polish job, 50 Kg of each should do it.

But i will take it in a regular drum container and not any exotic shaped one. :D

Thanks, but that is not made for polish glass / windshield.
True, but polish only has two really important properties - hardness and particle size and this is hard enough for glass and has a very fine particle size. It also has good lubricant and polishes remarkably quickly and easily compared with most polishes.

@Yooshaw that's a good link. Lucky my windshield is in much better condition, than the beach car.
My Porter Cable buffer will be put in to use for sure.
I always got a glare in my view, special at night time.
