Vueroid S1 4K Infinite

Vueroid S1 4K Infinite

The Vueroid S1 4K Infinite is a Korean 3-channel dash cam released in 2025. Vueroid is a new comer to the dash cam world outside of South Korea. Vueroid’s parent company NC& is South Korea’s largest dash cam manufacturer who has sold over 4,000,000 dash cams in the last 5 years. They started the Vueroid brand in 2024 and are gaining a footprint outside of Korea.

The S1 4K Inifinte is Vueroid’s flagship dash cam. It can be purchased as a 1-channel, 2-channel or 3-channel dash cam. The S1 4K is based on the Novatek NT98530 processor. It uses a 4K Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 CMOS sensor for the front camera, a 2K Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 CMOS sensor for the rear camera and STARVIS IMX307 CMOS sensor for the interior camera.

Video Quality

The Vueroid S1 4K Infinite has excellent video quality which is impressive as most Korean dash cams prioritize features over video quality. The front camera records 2160p (4K) video at 60fps with an average bitrate of 48 Mbps. The front camera delivers excellent video quality during the day and good performance at night.

The rear camera records 1440p (Quad HD) video at 30fps with an average bitrate 22 Mbps. While not in par with the front camera, the rear camera does a very good job during the day and an average job at night.

The interior camera records 1440p (Quad HD) video at 30fps with an average bitrate of 15 Mbps. This is camera is not using a Starvis 2 sensor but video quality is good for an interior camera. Note that when the front camera is recording at 4K 60fps, the rear and interior cameras record at 15fps.

Overall video quality is on par with top end cameras and is almost as good as the video quality of the VIOFO A329S. This is very impressive given Vueroid’s recent entrance in the dash cam market outside Korea.

Features

The Vueroid S1 4K has a 2.3″ screen, g-sensor, GPS, 5 GHz WiFi and free apps for Android and iOS. The camera uses a wedge shaped design and comes with an adhesive mount. The camera cannot swivel to record interactions at the driver or passenger windows. Build quality is very good, and the camera comes with audio and screen error notifications.

The S1 4K supports the following parking modes:

  1. Extreme low power (turns on within 1 second after impact)
  2. Impact and Time-lapse (continuous 1 frame / second)
  3. Impact and Motion (10s buffer + 20s post event)

To enable these parking modes, you will need to hardwire the dash cam to your car (hardwire cable is included). The Extreme low power mode is unique in that it uses very little power (drawing only 1 mA) significantly reducing power usage during parking mode. Vueroid has also a geo-fencing feature where for specified areas, like your garage, the camera will shut down instead of going into parking mode.

Another unique feature of the S1 4K is the TFF (Three Free File) System used for recording. This file systems allows them to forego a battery or capacitor in the camera. Usually the battery or the capacitor in dash cams are used to close off video files without corrupting the video when power is lost. This file system ensures files are not corrupted when power is removed hence no need for a battery or capacitor. This is ideal in high heat environments as particularly batteries do not perform well in these scenarios.

Support

Vueroid is responsive to questions and have good support. They also provide regular firmware updates and take into consideration user feedback. The warranty can be extended from 12 months to 18 months when registering online which is a positive.

Should I Purchase

The Vueroid S1 4K Infinite has very impressive video quality for all 3 channels, one of the best currently on the market. The S1 4K also delivers some unique features such as 4K 60fps front camera recording, extreme low power parking mode and a unique file system allowing the camera to forego a battery or capacitor.

Parking mode works really well, build quality is very good, an 18 month warranty with registration is provided and Vueroid provides firmware updates to improve the camera over time.

The primary negatives are the high cost at $400 and larger size. Overall this is a great camera if 3-channel video quality is your top priority. You may also want to consider the VIOFO A329S as well.
