The N4Pro's cutting-edge technology doesn't end there. Its new TS-class recording technology ensures that the last segment of the video is stored perfectly. The 3.19-inch IPS display screen, with a hairtail screen design, seamlessly integrates with the product's aesthetics.

Will there be disassembled photos?

Such a nice road, and then BAM gridlocked traffic.

And might i add a lot of overhead plate capture CCTV cameras, something that are also gaining use here, and as many do not like them they get vandalized.
Latest news say the Danish / German border, it will soon be manned by plate cameras and drones. okay there are also a fence there, 1.5 M tall

I suspect it is the DOL approach, it seem no one have managed to unlock the Sony Clear HDR
Well that be Viofo and their A139 pro, CUZ i am not aware of other cameras out there using this "new" sensor

This video are at fairly slow speed ( slower then the Danish default town speed of 50 kmh, also i dont think its totally black, though hard to determine in some towns as they have so much light pollution.
Footage with passing oncoming cars on a really dark road that would soon tell what kind of HDR was used.

Will the N5 and N4 PRO be able to share mount ?
Maybe remote cameras too ??

At least if you send both to a person to test, it would make things more easy, so easy you could almost change camera every day due to the easy magnet snap on mount.

The Vantrue N5 and Vantrue N4 Pro mount are structurally the same, but I need to confirm the current, Our team is traveling in the prairie this week, and it will take some time to confirm with the engineers; I will confirm as soon as possible.
You're right, the N5 and N4 Pro should be tested together! I try to apply for this thing.

It's definitely a nice looking camera like the N5.
But will it be able to handle the heat with parking mode in the summer? The camera seems quite compact.

It will probably be just as volatile as all other on the windscreen systems, which mean that inside the case there are a very small ALU heat sink on the SOC, so they all rely on convection and the hot air rising out of the case.
Though i think in all cameras that is really little if any, CUZ granted most cases for dashcams have holes for ventilation, but if you do not have active cooling i think just a little blocking of airflow will render convection useless.
All the systems are also made on the same SOC, that generally follow the shrinking in processor manufacturing, so i would assume most today are on 7nm technology, so in that sense already made with energy saving tech.

So Vantrue are not making any flaws here, they do the same all other do or should i say get away with, You can probably do parking guard in a car parked in the sun on a really hot day, but it will necessitate a departure from current dashcam design.

My little cheap car it do not have aircon so in summer i do have the fans going at full tilt, but what make the car bearable is to open windows.
The air from the fan, well it is also directed at the dash vants so it can be directed strait at the driver, so nothing get up on the windscreen where the cameras are.

If you expect parking guard to generally work, parking in regular outside places all of the year, well i would not put any money on any current system.
Sure some systems will be better than others, but i still think all are in a high risk of shutting down due to temperature in the summer months.

A dashcam with a main box the size of 20 x 12 x 8 CM ( + 120 mm fan so 10 CM tall ) that would still fit many places in my car, from under the front seats to under the dashboard or in the trunk.
And IMO a system need to go there, and have proper cooling maybe even active cooling, to pull off parking guard for sure on a hot summer day.
Downside a running fan it will eat into your battery, and so also the time the camera can be on, but i see no way around it, CUZ i still think even a large heatpipe or vapor chamber cooler alone will still be choked in a blast furnace hot car if it is passive cooled.

The remote main unit systems, very few have made one today and they have problems selling them, it is also a bit more work installing one, but at least in my case with my DIY skills quite possible with a very small / modest tool box

Reply to everyone, I have confirmed with the engineers that the Vantrue N4 Pro and N5 share Mount.

Yes, both Vantrue N5 and N4 Pro are using supercapacitor which allows the cameras to withstand extreme cold and heat. In addition, we also specially added two rows of ventilation holes on the shell.

Is the HDR using the Clear process or the traditional DOL process?
Vantrue Dashcam is now using DOL HDR. At present, our product department is debugging the technical effect of Clear HDR. After the test effect reaches the ideal, we will consider importing it.

DOL HDR is sort of like the bracketed photos i like to play with once in a while, it is pretty cool but if something move then you are lost, even if the software have a auto allign feature.
You can take such strings of photos in the hand, at least when there is plenty of light around.

Lets hope the new models will make it a good summer and fall for Vantrue, that is nothing to do in the support DPT but a lot of work at the assembly line.

That Amazon link mentions CLEAR HDR in the description, so they may have figured out how to implement it!
